Tyler King is a PhD candidate located in the Alfred Deakin Institute for Citizenship and Globalisation at Deakin University. Tyler’s work focuses on the relationships between humans and nature, generally within the context of conservation and environmental management. Tyler’s expertise has contributed to a range of projects throughout Australia, including endangered shorebird campaigns and urban wildlife initiatives. Currently, Tyler’s research is exploring the relationships between bees and people within the urban space, and how understanding these entanglements can better inform more ethical approaches in environmental management and planning.
